Established in 1997, Clifton Leung Design Workshop is the brainchild of Clifton Leung, one of Hong Kong’s most prolific interior designers. Combining design concepts of practicality and minimalism, many of its projects turn out to be the territory’s most successful business and residential models.
Clifton’s award-winning practice has helped shape the image and branding of many of the city’s leading international and local brands, including 1O1O, Banyan Tree, Converse, Calvin Klein, D&G, G.O.D, Gianfranco Ferre, HK Telecom, Companhia de Telecomunicações de Macau, Just Cavalli, Marie France, one2free, Polo Ralph Lauren, Siemens, Warner Bros.and Michelin one-star restaurant MIST, successfully transforming these retail spaces into an exceptional customer experience.
Among which, 1O1O Flagship Store (Hong Kong), Goelia Headquarter (China) and one2free Flagship Store had won the Five Star Awards in the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2012-2013 & 2013-2014 respectively. 1O1O and one2free projects are also named the winner of the Asia Pacific region in the retail category.
Clifton has also recently launched his second published book titled “INSIDE OUT – Celebrating 15 Years of Retail Design”. This new book is a celebration of 15 years of inspiring retail designs by Clifton. It gives a rare insight into a string of top-notch projects and unveils the Clifton’s secrets in integrating the brand identity and philosophy into the retail concepts that shape the most exciting customer experience.
In addition to the rich retail portfolio, Clifton has created over 150 of the most prestigious home interiors in Hong Kong, including Beverly Villas,Convention Plaza, Dynasty Court, Red Hill Peninsula, Repulse Bay Garden, Residence Bel-Air, Robinson Place, The Arch, The Harbourside, Tregunter Tower, Valverdeetc., of which, twenty four of these stunning designs are showcased in his published book “From Minimalism to Maximization : Interior Design Lifestyle by Clifton Leung”.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, Clifton has an interior design degree from Toronto’s renowned Ryerson University.With great passion for design and lifestyle, Clifton remains very dedicated to the local and China design community, participating as guest speaker at regional forums & conferences and lecturing at the local design schools. Clifton’s works have been frequently profiled in various local and regional publications.
